Seven years ago, Kate was walking a foster dog around Jack London Square in Oakland, trying to find her a new family. At Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon, Honey Bee jumped up on Trea and he received her affection with open arms and a great smile. Kate knew something about him was special. They went on their first date the next evening and this moment will lead to a lifetime of happiness together. They have lived in two homes together, along with Trea's youngest son Micah (who is taller than Kate now, at age 14) and have had the pleasure of watching his older sons become successful young men. They have gone on adventures near and far, have been the lucky stewards of 6 dogs together, been to countless concerts, over 100 baseball games, and have even become the champions of their skeeball league together. They are blessed to know that they'll be best friends forever, and couldn't have made it here without your love and support.
